Las Vegas, NV Respite: Took a breather from the natural beauty of the past two weeks to enjoy the man-made wonder that is Las Vegas!  Checked into the Marriott Grand Chateau for four nights of city life!  The view of the strip from our 24^th floor villa was certainly different from the starry skies we viewed from our tent! 

Highlights: Elton John in concert at the Coliseum of Caesar’s Palace; walking across the new Hoover Dam Bridge; renting a power boat in the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead; haircuts and clean clothes!
